What if the patient is fasting and the queue is full?
You mark the patient as priority at check-in. The priority queue jumps the regular line and the fasting patient is called first.
Does it integrate with our LIS (lab information system)?
Lyne does not replace the LIS. It only handles the waiting list before collection. You can use the API (Clinic plan) or a webhook to fire events into your LIS when the patient is called.
Can we limit how many patients come in per hour?
Yes. You set business hours and queue capacity. When the limit is reached, the queue stops accepting check-ins and shows the next available slot.
Can the patient really wait in the car?
That's the idea. The 'almost your turn' message arrives 5 minutes ahead (you can adjust). Enough time to come up and be ready.
