Frequently asked questions
Is patient data safe? What about LGPD?
Yes. Lyne stores only the patient's name and WhatsApp number, and only for as long as needed to serve them. No clinical data. The whole infrastructure is hosted in Brazil and follows LGPD.
Does it comply with Brazilian law 10.048 on priority service?
Yes. The patient flags priority when joining the queue (elderly, pregnant or people with disabilities) and the front desk sees the marker right on screen. Priority service is logged in the report.
Does it integrate with electronic health records?
Not required. Lyne handles only the waiting list. If your EHR has an API, you can use a webhook or the Clinic plan API to pull the patient from the queue into the appointment.
What about walk-ins? Patients who arrive without an appointment?
That's exactly the use case. Walk-ins scan the QR and join the queue in arrival order. Patients with appointments are already registered and the front desk calls them at their time.
